Nicknamed “Mammoth Waves”, Saltville’s wave pool, has the ability to generate ocean-like waves. The wave pool replaced a municipal swimming pool whose predecessor, a saltwater pool built in the mid-1940s was the first to be named for Hardy Roberts, the first man from Smyth County to die in World War II. The pool is 150 feet long by 60 feet wide and includes a children’s area with a fountain.

For the 2026 season, the Wave Pool will offer a full concession stand!
We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and Apple Pay for entry fees.
The 2026 season is everyday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with the exception of bad weather.

Monday – Friday: Closed
Saturdays: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Sundays: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Last day of the season: September 7th.
POOL PRICES:
Daily Admission: $6 (4 and under is FREE with a paying adult)
Individual Pool Pass: $100 per person
Family Pool Pass: $250 for 3 people, $300 for 4 people, and $350 for 5 people
Pool Parties: $300 | Pool Parties will be scheduled for Thursday though Sunday, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
